First Impressions Team

Love people? Want to be part of creating a lasting, first experience for our guests at CFCOG? The First Impressions Team provides you the opportunity to do just that, through one-on-one conversations or in behind-the-scenes roles.

Parking Team

It begins in the parking lot. The parking team is an excited, friendly, and smiling group of people who are the first face of CFCOG. This team, literally, makes the first impression on every guest. Volunteering on this team isn't about putting cars into parking spaces, but about creating a friendly environment where people feel genuinely welcomed.

 

Greeters

This team actively demonstrates God's love with every smile and hello. Conversations are short, but the potential to make a lasting impression is immeasurable. Do you have a cheerful smile and enjoy welcoming people? Greeters are energetic, talkative, and friendly. People who are relaxed are more likely to respond to the sermon.

 

Hosts

This team actively guides our guests through the welcoming process. Guests will be lead from the parking lot to the Welcome Center. They will be accompanied by a host on a tour of our facilities. Hosts will offer hospitality that goes beyond the initial greeting and welcome.

 

Ushers

Creating a Church experience that is distraction-free and focused on the gospel is an essential element of every Sunday morning. Ushers are responsible for welcoming guests to each service, helping them find a seat, and minimizing distractions so that they are relaxed and ready to focus all their attention to the sermon.

 

Welcome Center

This group of committed volunteers is known as a well-organized and outgoing team who are servants at heart. They encourage our guests by distributing up-to-date information about CFCOG and it's various events. This team also provides a friendly and encouraging atmosphere for you to sign up for events.

 

Pastor's Reception

For guests who wish to meet our Pastors, this team creates a relaxing and friendly environment for them to grab a snack and share their story with our leadership. It is also a great opportunity for our guests to hear the vision of our church.
